David Merredew has been working in the environmental field since the 1990s. Since 2008 he has been the Team Lead of Education, Outreach & Partnerships with the City of Calgary: Waste & Recycling Services. In this role he was part of the team that rolled out the City wide Blue Cart and then Green Cart programs as well as a variety of other initiatives focused on education and behavior change. His work currently focuses on supporting an array of circular economy projects throughout the City via partnerships with non-profit organizations. David has a Masters of Environmental Studies from York University and a Masters in Secondary Education from the University of Alberta.
